You will receive the exact plant in the photos.
Very rare type.
Please note that this is not a variegated plant and therefore the tricolour is stable. Leaves will show more white colour when the plant is more mature (similar pattern as the mother plant).
This particular type of aglaonema pictum tricolour has striking colours and superior patterns.
Grows well in sphagnum moss or well draining soil. Allow to dry out in between watering.
All orders will be shipped with free heatpacks.
✰Winter Acclimation (IMPORTANT)
Plant can go through more stress in shipping during winter months. Sometimes leaves may suffer and drop as a result of shipping stress. Please do not purchase if you are not comfortable with this.
In order to help your plant recover and acclimate quickly, please follow the following care tips for at least 2 weeks after you receive your plant
Watering: if the soil is very dry upon arrival, spray the soil with water sparingly. Don't water so much that the water runs out from the bottom of the pot. If the soil is slightly moist half way down the pot, so not water. Continue to keep the soil on the drier side when the plant is in high humidity environment. The plant will need hardly any water if at all when placed in the sealed plastic bag.
Environment: Place the plant inside a greenhouse with humidity above 70%. Alternatively, place the plant inside the plastic bag supplied with your order, inflate and seal the bag. Open the bag once or twice a day for air circulation.
Light: keep the plant in a bright medium light condition. Please ensure the plant is not placed too close to grow light. If in doubt, provide slightly lower light for the initial two weeks. Too much light can add stress to the plant.
After the first two week period, you may wish to gradually let the plant adapt to a lower humidity setting. Generally the plant will do better with 70% humidity or above, especially for some anthurium specimens.
