OUR JUNGLE
We are a UK based online plant shop specialising in rare aroids. We source our plants from all over the world in a sustainable manner and offer our customers fully acclimated plants.
OUR PLANTS
While we regularly import plants from our suppliers, we care about the sustainability and impact of importing. This is why we are expanding our mother plants collection for propogation purpose and become less reliant on import over time.
OUR CARE
All our plants are acclimated in our greenhouses for 1-4 months before they are released. Most plants are transferred to a second greenhouse with lower humidity (65-70%) two weeks prior to sale, as we believe this will make the acclimation process more smoothly and quickly when they arrive at your home.
OUR SUBSTRATE
Most of our plants are grown in sphagnum moss or aroid mix. We use high quality substrate so there is no need to repot until the plant is root bound. Our substrate is also fertilised (organic fertiliser and root growth stimulator) so fertilising is not required for the first month.
